Our Places

We honor the places where we build our relationship with nature.  Each of our outdoor "classrooms" is stewarded with much love and care.

Nature and Nurture Farm

Nature and Nurture Farm is located in Dexter, MI, close to Ann Arbor.  Much of it is under conservation easement, and is protected as a natural area for generations to come.  The remainder operates as an organic farm whose primary product is heirloom seeds.

Our campsite sits at the edge of a forested wetland and borders on open fields.  There is plenty of space to explore.  We have a substantial straw-bale shelter to keep us warm and dry in most weather.

Sunward Cohousing Community

Sunward Cohousing Community is an intentional community on the west side of Ann Arbor.  Forty homes and a spacious Common House are clustered on four acres.  The remainder of Sunward's 20 acres are preserved in forest, prairie, ponds, stream and wet meadow.

Our campsite is in the middle of the woods, and we wander through all the various habitats.  Sunward's Common House is home to many of our community gatherings, and outdoors classes sometimes meet at Sunward when the weather calls for access to indoor space.  Fuzzy Caterpillars, our preschool/kindergarten class, always meets at Sunward.
