Our Places

Sunward Cohousing Community

Some of our classes are offered at Sunward Cohousing Community (
www.sunward.org), located on Little Lake Drive in Scio Township, west of Ann Arbor.  Sunward Cohousing owns 20 acres, but has built on only four, keeping the remaining land in its natural state, and restoring them toward their native condition. Ten acres of this is oak-hickory forest, and four acres are native prairie.  There are also two large ponds, a wet meadow and a pine forest.  This diversity of habitats creates a wealth of opportunities for nature study!

Nature and Nurture Farm
We also lead classes at Nature and Nurture Farm in Dexter, MI.  Nature and Nurture has been designated as an organic farm, and much of its acreage has been committed to conservation.  We have a forest camp there, which includes a large, comfortable, hand-built shelter!
