Black Faces, White Spaces: Reimagining the Relationship of African Americans to the Great Outdoors, by Carolyn Finney, is about why African Americans are so under-represented in nature, outdoor recreation, and environmentalism.  We're excited to be reading this fascinating book, and look forward to discussing it with a group.

You can purchase the book from Blackstone Books in Ypsilanti, MI.  They offer curbside pickup. The book is also available in Kindle format.

We encourage you to read the book if you can, but we welcome anyone who's interested in join this discussion, which will take place by Zoom on Mondays October 12, 19 and 26 at 7 pm.
