Sweet Grass Mandala Making                 Saturday, December 14  from 1-4 pm

Picture
All summer long the sweetgrass plants grew in the garden.  The earth fed them, the water blessed them, the sun raised them up.  Finally, the gardener came, offered deepest gratitude, and asked permission to harvest.  Now coils of fragrant sweetgrass wait for us to transform them into objects of beauty - ornaments that will remind us, with every breath, of the earth, the water, the sun and the gifts of the plants.

Pins, tags, buttons, barrettes, earrings...what will you make?  Bring along small treasures from nature or from your life to decorate your sweetgrass mandala and make it one of a kind.  We have some to share, too.
