Nature Connection Mentorship

Picture
Want to grow your personal connection with nature?  To get to know your place and your many neighbors, of many species better?  To deepen your awareness of yourself and all that surrounds you?  Individual mentorship is a rocket booster for this growth process!

Parents and grandparents, teachers, healers, lovers of the earth: this might be for you.

Rowena Conahan, founder and director of Nature Learning Community, is offering a limited number of personal mentorships. These can last for a single session or continue onward as you grow and learn.  All sessions are tailored to your unique interests, and can take place in person or by teleconference.  During lock-down, all nature connection mentorships will take place by phone or teleconference.

You might be invited to:
  • Sit or walk on the land
  • Engage practices of sensory expansion
  • Learn how to be comfortable in all weather conditions
  • Journal (on paper or out loud)
  • Map your place
  • Find some tracks and draw a picture
  • Listen to the birds
  • Answer impossible questions about your surroundings
  • Celebrate as the impossible becomes possible

We might discuss:
  • Plants, animals, birds, trees, reptiles, amphibians, insects...
  • Weather patterns
  • Qualities of water and earth
  • Survival skills
  • Storytelling
  • Song Catching
  • Emotional responses to experience in nature
  • Intuitive dialogue with nature
  • Healing and ceremony
  • Integrated energy work
  • Rites of passage
  • And...

Sessions typically last an hour (a first session may be longer). The fee is on a sliding scale from $80 - $40 per hour.  Please pay according to your sense of abundance.
