Berry Day! Saturday, July 18 from 11-2
We have sufficient RSVP for Berry Day that registration is closed. Please email naturelearningcommunity@gmail.com if you're interested in joining the wait list.
Back in March we had to cancel events and relocate classes to the wilds of the internet. Now we'd like to try gathering outdoors with a day of play and land care at Nature and Nurture Farm.
Tending camp
There are various things we can do
to keep our camp area in good shape and make it better.
Distance games
We'd like to try out some games we can play
while maintaining physical distance.
Berries
If we're very lucky, there may be
ripe wild black raspberries to pick!

When
Berry Day is on Saturday July 18 from 11 am to 2 pm.
Please note that Berry Day will be cancelled if the weather doesn't support a good experience. If necessary, cancellation will be posted on this web page around 10 am.
Getting There
Nature and Nurture Farm is located at 7100 Marshall Road in Dexter.
Park amongst the large boulders on the left side of the driveway as you pull in.
Follow the signs (a 5 minute walk) to find us at camp. If you need help finding your way in, call 734-531-8330.
What to Bring
Please bring everything you'll need to be comfortable for a couple of hours in the weather of the day. You might want:
Health and Safety
We'd like to host a safe Berry Day. We ask everyone to maintain six feet of space (one Sandhill Crane!) between yourself and others not in your household or pod. We ask that parents help their children observe this guideline.
We encourage everyone to bring a mask or bandana, and to use them if a circumstance arises where it's necessary for people to gather. We'll be trying out safe ways to be together outside and would appreciate having all options available.
RSVP
As we work to plan a safe experience, it would be helpful to anticipate numbers. Please RSVP by email to naturelearningcommunity@gmail.com. Thanks!
